Now this is a really good photo - not because it's of me, but because of the size. It's a good close up shot, I could draw a good caricature from this. It's clear, not too dark, I can see the outline of the hair. Please send me good close up recent shots of a similar quality and you'll get a good likeness in your personlaised caricature.Try sending photos with a facial expressions that may suit your design. We're onto a winner with photos like this!
In order for me to get the best results and the best likeness, I need the largest facial photograph you can supply, this helps me capture all the detail and facial expressions.
You can always send in a few photos if you like! (Remember, I don't know the subject and so the end product can only be as good as the photograph you supply.)

This is a really bad photo to draw a caricature from. For a start the background is black, you can't see where the hair finishes. Also - what happened to the top of the head? What sort of hairline does he have? Please, I don't want to be guessing and I don't want you trying to describe it! We won't get a very good result from a photo like this.
Someone once sent me a photo of the person they wanted a caricature of with a shaved head, and then asked me to draw them with long hair. Unfortunately, I'm not a mind reader! LOL.

Nice photo - but far too dark to work from. The results from a photo like this are going to be very disappointing. I might even have to refuse to work from a photo like this. You want good results don't you? The size of the face is getting a bit small, I couldn't really see the detail of the face and colour of the eyes that's impossible.

Remember that the quality of the face drawn will only be as good a the photo's sent!

Again, the main problem here is the distance. I can't see any detail in the face. It's just too far away. I could work from the body shape though! So if you or the person has a specific shape it might be a good idea to send in a whole body shot as an additional shot.

This photo is absolutely impossible to work from, I can't even see the person in question, it's way too dark, it's terrible, it's useless, it's a joke!

Yeh, it is a joke!
